Evolution Essay: 

The objective for our Evolution Essay was described as such: "The purpose of this project is to provide an opportunity to define and reflect on what has been most important to you in your evolution as a writer and to investigate how these elements continue to affect you now, as you begin the work of your capstone course. Additionally, it is meant to help you synthesize the learning you have accomplished during the Minor in Writing program, as it connects to your other writing experiences."

In my case, I wanted to examine how, despite being a film major and going into an industry that increasingly requires employees to have a wide variety of skills in editing, photography, directing, etc; I had mostly stuck to writing as my main creative outlet. With the creation of my Capstone video, I wanted to examine how I had moved from someone who only knew writing into a creative able to utilize several different mediums to tell a story.
